First day of spring: The skyline of Frankfurt in golden light
Heute war der perfekte Bilderbuch Frühlingsanfang. Während letztes Jahr um diese Zeit noch Schnee lag, wurden wir heute von der Sonne verwöhnt. Mit bis zu 24 ° war heute sogar der bis jetzt heißeste Tag dieses Jahr.
Sobald die Sonnenstrahlen herauskommen, erwache auch ich aus meinem Winterschlaf und werde wieder unternehmungslustiger. Die Balkonsaison ist definitive gestartet und ich will soviel wie möglich draußen verbringen. Ich kann mich echt glücklich schätzen, so einen tollen Ausblick von unserem Balkon über die Skyline von Frankfurt, Mainhattan, zu haben. Bei einem so tollen Sonnenuntergang musste ich das endlich mal auf Bildern festhalten.
Obwohl ich zur Zeit viel unterwegs bin, will ich endlich auch meine neue Heimat Frankfurt kennen lernen und berichten, was es hier schönes gibt.
Today was the perfect start of spring. While last year it was still cold and snowing by that time, this year it is so nice and sunny. Temperatures were rising until 24 degrees, which means it was also the hottest day of the year so far. I finally woke up from my winter sleep and I am very keen to spend as much time outside as possible. I can consider myself very lucky to have such a nice view of Frankfurt from our balcony. The day ended with a beautiful sunset and this is the view of the skyline of Mainhattan that I capured with my camera from our balcony.
Even if I am travelling quite a lot at the moment, I am very keen to get to know my new home Frankfurt now and tell you what there is to see.
