Escaping grey everyday life
Why not start a blog with a picture rich in color? A picture that is bright and shining. And which to be honest makes me really happy to look at. Sometimes taking a picture can treasure the moment quite well, but sometimes not a thousand words or a simple picture can save that moment for ever. We can’t take pictures of everything, sometimes we have to simply open our eyes widely and try to remember what we saw. If we see rare beauty, we better indulge instead of trying to take a picture and missing everything of those precious seconds or minutes.
On the other hand, sometimes we take a picture and immediately fell in love with it. We are surprised how well it turned out and if we are really lucky, the picture is even better than the motive itself.
With that one, I can not remember exactly how it was. All I can say is, that I love the photo so much and I am just so pleased how delicious it looks like and how rich and clear the colours are. I would love to just pick the fruit up and bite in it.
It was taken in 2011 on a warm, summer night in Istanbul, Turkey. It was one of those perfect evenings where you just stroll around, talk, nothing worries you and you are completely content and happy. I spotted the fruit on a little street stall in front of the Blue Mosque, one of the most stunning and most beautiful sites of Istanbul. I took the picture, looking through my lens, admiring the colours and then when I saw it on the display realized how well it came out.
And here you go: My first picture and blog entry on this site. Hope you like it and please feel free to comment or share the link to this website.
